What a wonderful find! The place looked deserted but we had high hopes based on the many reviews, so we came in---and what a great place! We knew from the almost full restaurant that we were in for a treat!

We were greeted by Lidia immediately and she shared what the specials were and told us about all of the homemade goodies while we looked over the menu. We ordered homemade German sausage breakfasts with potatoes and biscuits---and then took the suggestion of finishing our meal with homemade pies. The service was excellent as was the food.

By the time we left we felt a part of a small community and we can't wait to go back!!

70Years & still serving the community with down home original recipes. This local gem also makes homemade German sausage on site, & you can order it off the menu or take some home and cook it yourself.
    I'll be back!

simple box of a building...doesn't look too appealing...can't really see inside from the outside...none of the doors look like an entrance, but most of them are entrances to the restaurant...once inside, things look better...but, no restroom...small cozy diner...table and counter seating...a single screen over the counter on the corner...menu provided...finding a good list of sandwiches, salads and more...taking a pastrami sandwich $9.49...few minutes and delivered....sweet soft roll with a little yellow mustard...mound of razor thin slices of pastrami layered between...pickle slices and spicy yellow peppers on the side....served with fresh fried fries...sandwich isn't large...small manageable size....quite simple, but good...add a soda and $16 total after tax and tip...
